Brahe Ice Rink
If you live a little closer to the center of Helsinki and you do not have the opportunity to travel further afield, you should head towards the Brahenkentät ice rink. Bragu or Brahe Ice Rink is a sports field open to everyone. The ice field keeps the ice frozen regardless of the weather. In public skating, one side of the field is for skaters and the other is for rackets with players. There is also a café on the edge of Brahenkentä where you can get a hot drink for cold winter weather. If your skates are dull then you can find the sharpening of the skates on site.
