They wanted to bring a café to Finland, where they invest in the quality and good taste of coffee. The idea was originally started by Svante Hampf and Benjamin Andberg. Later, they wanted to focus more on coffee roasting, and with that, they established the Kaffa Roastery coffee roastery near the Red Mountain in Helsinki. Jens Hampf continued to pull the cafe. In addition to them, Janina Lindgren, the main bar Roman Kolpatski and chef Jon Linnavuori were opening the first café and developing the whole concept. The close-knit team focused on personal service, good food and quality coffee. This led to the rapid growth of the loyal customer base. Passionate coffee enthusiasts also quickly found the cafe.
